Our CSA Odyssey kids need your support to make it to Worlds.  They have advanced in the international, problem solving, creative thinking competition and need your support to help make it to Iowa for the World Competition in late May where they will compete with 800 other teams.  Please visit our GoFundMe page to help out.  Any donation is greatly appreciated!  Good  luck kids!  Go Cougars!

PTA Board Meeting Date Change (May 10th)

Due to scheduling conflicts, we are moving our final board meeting of the year to Tuesday, May 10th at 11:45am in the CSA Library.

We will have significant business to conduct at this meeting, including voting on next year’s slate of officers and the budget for next year.

Come out and support Cornerstone Academy at Spirit Night!  Put your receipts in the Spirit Night boxes in the restaurant or drive-thru between 3:30 and close.  Hope you will join us!

The above are the ONLY scheduled pick up times.

Please do not show up at CSA outside of these pick up times;
no one will be able to assist you.

Please email to arrange a different time.  Arrangements can be made to send items home with students.

All items must be paid and picked up by Friday, April 29.

8th Grade Dance Volunteer Sign Ups

Volunteers needed for Saturday, May 21st from 7-10 pm

  • Set Up from 12 noon-6 pm 
  • Take Down promptly from 10 pm -10:30 pm
  • Donate Food/Drinks (finger foods / ONLY bottled water)(food items may be dropped off in the CSA office on Friday,
    Saturday at the venue during the set up hours of 12-6pm)
  • Create 12 centerpieces for the tables.(Sign up on VolunteerSpot to create a centerpiece. Call CSA for the theme)
  • Need help providing/making a candy table
Teachers will be chaperoning the event.

Running for the Arts

Please join us on Saturday, April 30th for this fantastic family-friendly 5K event! Proceeds from Running for the Arts will directly benefit the Spring Branch Independent School District’s ARTS Partners Program and the SBISD Health Fitness Program. The ARTS Partners Program provides cultural art experiences for all SBISD students while SBISD’s Health Fitness Program educates students on the best way to live a healthy lifestyle.
The event is Saturday, April 30th, at Memorial City Mall in the same location as in years past. For more information and to register, here is the link to the race website:
Create a team of at least 4 runners/walkers and each team member will receive a STARBUCKS gift card from Cornerstone PTA. You will register individually at and then send names of your team members to Robin Tompkins at You will receive your gift card after the event. Literacy & Lasagna

The PTA and the Library would like to invite you to an evening of literacy and lasagna in the library.

To explore our free eBooks, learn about the various library programs, and learn about other resources available to both parents and students in SBISD.
$5 for adults, $3 children (includes a delicious lasagna dinner, dessert and a drink)

Artist Needed for Mardi Gras Catalog Cover

The Auction/Mardi Gras Committee is holding an Auction Cover Art Contest! This contest is open to ANY CSA STUDENT, in any grade!  Winner will receive $20 worth of Food and Game Tickets!!  The winning artwork will be featured on the front cover of the Auction Catalog print edition.
