Library News

Library The Teen Library Council is organizing a book swap for the entire school. If your child has gently used middle school appropriate books in his or her collection that they would like to bring in to be able to exchange for other books, that would be great! For each book your child (up to a total of 5) brings, they will be eligible to swap for the same number of other books to read. We want to encourage you to help your child do some spring cleaning of their bookshelf and join in the fun. They can bring their books to the library for the next two weeks and then we will conduct the swap in May.

Chess Club News

Chess Club

In the final chess tournament of the school year, the CSA chess team battled mightily. Mario Reyes, 6th grade, earned a trophy for 10th place in his section, winning 3 of his 5 matches. Cole Tanner, also 6th grade, won 2 of his 5 matches. We hope that next year, more chess players will join the team at tournaments, so we can be eligible for team trophies as well.
Thanks to Mr. Gregg, Mrs. Wright, Coach Gale Jenkins, parents, and the faculty and staff of Cornerstone for their assistance and support this year. We are looking forward to an even better year next year.
